Officer Training
Over the course of the past few months, I have had the privilege of working with five men from our congregation who have been nominated for church office. These five men–Marc Houghton, Joe Saffa, Tim Heger, Peter Bringe, and Cody Winton–have been busily studying the Westminster Confession of Faith and the OPC’s Book of Church Order. Once we are done with our training classes, our borrowed elder, Mr. Bruce Stahl, and myself will closely examine them and certify their eligibility as candidates for office.
