Text: 1 Peter 3:7-9
Life doesn’t always boil down to a simple mathematical formula, but in the case of Christian marriage the following really works:
Spiritual Regeneration + Biblical Reconstruction = Marital Reformation
So, who is this message for? It is for the discouraged wife who wonders if her husband will ever learn to communicate with her. It is for the frustrated husband who doesn’t understand his wife’s way of thinking and acting. It is for perplexed, concerned children who want to be an encouragement to their fathers and mothers. It is for those who are not currently married as they contemplate a future marriage.
The Lord has specifically designed marriages to work and not to be failures (see Genesis 2:24 and Matthew 19:3-12). Listen and learn from the Bible about how Christian marriage can truly be blessed by the Lord.
Men–make it your purpose and pattern to be a blessing to your wife, if you want to receive a blessing from your wife.
