Lord’s Day Schedule: Every Lord’s Day we have an 11am worship service followed by a fellowship meal together. All are welcome to stay for the meal, and you can contribute by bringing a main dish and dessert/or salad. We have our Christian education time after the meal. Elder Bruce Stahl is teaching a series on vocation and culture. After our education time, we will gather for our weekly prayer meeting.
Midweek Meeting: We meet on Wednesdays, two weeks on and one week off, at the Bringe’s home. Most of the time Elder Stahl leads a study of Old Testament history for everyone.
Ordination Service: The presbytery will ordain and install Peter Bringe as our pastor on October 9th at Christ Presbyterian Church (OPC), located at 2156 Bluestone Dr, St. Charles, MO 63303. The service will begin at 7pm.
Pilgrim Heritage Celebration: This year’s event will be held in the lower hall of the Wentzville American Legion on November 17th. The event will begin with a potluck meal at 5:30pm and the main program at 6:30pm. Following the program we will have dessert. During the program we will listen to John Huffman, Peter Bringe, and Jeff Hamann recount the stories and lessons of the Pilgrims’ trials and adventures. Click here for more details.
Congregational Meeting: We will hold a brief congregational meeting after worship on Oct. 14th to vote on whether to have Rev. McShaffrey as an augment to our session. He will no longer be our ministerial advisor after Oct. 9th, and this will keep him on the session for a transition period.
