Location: Wentzville American Legion
504 Luetkenhaus Blvd. Wentzville, MO 63385
Come join us for our annual celebration of the Pilgrims on Saturday, November 17th!
We will host the event in the lower hall of the Wentzville American Legion (the entrance is in the back of the building). We will begin with a potluck meal at 5:30pm and then we will have our main program at 6:30pm. Following the program we will have dessert. During the program we will listen to John Huffman, Jeff Hamann, and our pastor, Peter Bringe, recount the stories and lessons of the Pilgrims’ trials and adventures.
The Pilgrims were self-conscious about the fact that they were laying down a foundation for future generations. We are their heirs and they have given us a good inheritance. We would do well to gratefully reflect on our heritage and the providential God whose hand was particularly evident in their lives.
If you are joining us for dinner, please bring a main dish and/or a salad or dessert. If you have any questions about the event you can contact us here or message our church on Facebook. You can also listen to last year’s talks here.
“Lastly, (and which was not least), a great hope and inward zeall they had of laying some good foundation, or at least to make some way therunto, for the propagating and advancing the gospell of the kingdom of Christ in those remote parts of the world; yea, though they should be but even as stepping-stones unto others for the performing of so great a work.”
-William Bradford, Of Plymouth Plantation
